Our Barnstaple branch was the first of our branches and opened in 1985.
When we started, there was just one service bay but business grew rapidly and now we have five fully-equipped bays to handle the volume of work.
The workshops are open six days a week to provide the very best in car care. You can expect a warm welcome and an efficient service and there is also a large, comfortable waiting area with coffee-making facilities where you can relax as we service your vehicle.

Our South Molton branch was opened approximately 18 years ago and in that time has built up a reputation of giving a fast, efficient and friendly service.
The premises were acquired from new and are located on the Pathfields Industrial Estate adjacent to the North Devon link road.
As well as a fully-equipped workshop, there is a comfortable waiting area for customers.

We are also accredited by The Motor Ombudsman – the Motor Ombudsman is the first Ombudsman to be focused solely on the automotive sector, and self-regulates the UK’s motor industry through its comprehensive Chartered Trading Standards Institute (CTSI)-approved Codes of Practice.
Thousands of businesses, including vehicle manufacturers, warranty product providers, franchised dealers, independent garages, networks and bodyshops are accredited to one or more of the Codes, which drive even higher standards of work and service, and give consumers added protection, peace of mind and trust during the vehicle purchase and ownership experience.

Our story…
The Car Care Centre was founded in Barnstaple in 1985 by two local mechanics who had many years of experience in the trade. They decided to utilise their skills and Car Care Centre’s offer customers a centre where they could bring their vehicles and be assured of the highest standards of vehicle care.
We now boast some of the busiest workshops in the area and have been so successful that we have expanded to two branches in Barnstaple and South Molton.
Car Care Centre’s have fully equipped workshops and an MOT bay at both branches. All of our staff are trained to the highest standard to carry out all aspects of servicing and repair, Inclusive of brakes, clutches, suspension , engine work, exhausts, Batteries, tyres, air conditioning, in fact any automotive repair requirement.
Our aim is to meet or exceed expectations and always to deliver value for money to all our customers. We always value feedback both to acknowledge the good service received or to suggest any improvement that you feel that we could make.
